MCA Name Search - Company & LLP
You can do a search of Company names already registered with MCA at
http://www.mca.gov.in/mcafoportal/showCheckCompanyName.do.
Type few letters of proposed name in the Column - Company / LLP Name*
For eg: If the proposed name is 'CompaniesInn Solutions Private Limited', type CompaniesInn in the name column and you will get the list of Companies and LLP's already registered and Names approved.
In case the proposed name is not registered, you will get a message - Entered Company/LLP name does not exists.
(Disclaimer: Even if the system indicates the name does not exist, there is no guarantee that the name will be approved by ROC. We have to file the application and wait for the approval from ROC office)
